In his career of over 30 years he was posted to all the border areas of India(especially North east and North western India). We never accompanied him as he thought our studies will get affected. My Mom has taken good care of us when he was outside serving the country and has supported him in all respects. He used to come home twice a year for only 15 days. During his visit, he used to get boxfull of sweets and clothes for us. My brother used to hide it well before we find it. We still laugh at it even now when we recall those incidents. When he was posted in Kashmir, i remember he used to get 3 to 4 boxes of Apples which we liked the most. There are many more incidents which are always cherished in our lives.

He never complained about his work and always made sure that our education is never affected. Its only because of his commitment towards his work for 30 yrs, we are in this position and we owe him much more than what we have thought.

All our successes, recognitions and earnings till date were possible only because of him.

Thank you Dad. For women its not the same, some of them restrain themselves. But, the topic was concluded saying Women too talk about SEX very often (No offense).

But, the one component of the discussion was truely awesome.

A famous sexologist who was a guest in the programme talked about how a relationship between men and women should be. The highway is not illuminated with street lights which makes driving miserable. With the high beam of the vehicles rushing in from the opposite direction, one can't make out the path or anybody who is crossing the road. Even after broadening the National Highway(NH-7) the purpose is not served as the public still uses the same highway to reach the other side of the road. Jaywalking is still prevalent and this leads to unavoidable accidents.

Another major problem is the road connecting the Highway just after the railway crossing(People who travel towards Yelahanka can imagine). This road intercepts the highway from the right side which is "weird" and completely blocks the way for the vehicles coming from the opposite direction which leads to Congestion. This part of the highway is controlled by the Traffic police which is totally needless.

A small underpass can be planned to connect to the highway which will end this confusion and wastage of manpower. Addition to this, the Highways can be barricaded on either sides which will reduce Jaywalking and the road medians should never be intercepted and proper exits can be planned which will avoid the needless traffic.

Government should not merely invest on constructing roads but should also invest on the safety of the citizens.

What to Write ?

I want to fill my Blog with new posts but, i dont know what to write. My friend got me a ticket for the front gallery and i thought that i will get to see the BAND very closely and was excited. By the time we were in Palace Grounds, it was 5:45 and the show was supposed to start by 7:00 PM. The Indian Rock Band, PARIKRAMA was rocking the crowd by their amazing performance. We entered the Front gallery and were shocked to see the crowd. It was filled with more than 20,000 people. Black was the Dress code and i could manage to get an IRON MAIDEN T-shirt from my friend Kanthi which i haven't yet returned ...;-)

We got a place to stand almost 35-40 yards from the stage and settled there:-(. People cheering around wereexcited too. The worst thing was most of them were into Dope and we couldn't bear the smell of it. By 7:30, Parikrama and Lauren Harris, Daughter of Iron Maiden Bassist, Steve Harris were done with their performance. The Crowd started chanting IRON MAIDEN and was eager for their performance. By that time i was exhausted standing there for almost 2 hours.

By 8:00 PM, Iron Maiden took onto the stage and started playing the numbers from their latest Album " A matter of Life and Death". I couldn't enjoy as i had never heard any of them. Then they started with "Fear of the Dark", "The Number of the Beast", "2 Mins to Midnight","Hallowed by the Name" and our Head banging started. It went on till 10:00 PM and i was totally thrilled by their performance.

Bruce was excited too. "SCREAM FOR ME BANGALORE" was all he had to say !

The next morning, i got a severe neck pain .... thanks to the Head banging ... ;-)

First Flight Experience

It was my first flight experience enroute to New Delhi, the capital city of INDIA.I was very much excited about the trip.
It was on 30th May when i started from home to Airport by 2:00 PM considering Bangalore traffic. the flight was supposed to start at 5:50 PM.i reached Airport by 3:00 and was wondering what next.
I went to the kingfisher Airlines desk to collect the boarding pass. The lady near the desk was beautiful and her smile eased my tensions.she smiled back handling me the boarding pass and wondered why this guy is so early.by 4:45 ( one hour before) there was an announcement to check in.I had been to Airport many times, but i never got an opportunity to have a look at the area once you check-in. After security and baggage check-in, i was waiting for the flight to arrive.
Then came an announcement" The Kingfisher flight -IT206 flying from Bangalore-delhi will be delayed by an hour"

i got pissed off and with no other option i waited ...

After an hour came the announcement from Kingfisher Airlines"Passengers waiting for Flight IT206 (Bangalore to Delhi) are requested to board the flight"

I got charged up and hurried towards the Flight.my seat number was 27, which was a window seat as i had requested while collecting the boarding pass.i was enthralled after looking at the girl who had occupied the seat next to mine. She was gorgeous and graceful. I felt the fragrance of the perfume and was eager to start the conversation.being introvert, i restrained myself ... :-(

As the flight started, i called my friend and told him about the attractive lady sitting next to me and my first flight experience. Obviously he was envious about the happenings... :-)

it was a nice experience on air for about 3 hrs ...As i was waiting for an opportunity to speak to her, i asked her the address in delhi where i was supposed to stay. It was then i heard her voice ... wow!!!

Atlast, i could speak to her for a minute for which i was happy enough and i took a pre-paid taxi to Malviyanagar in Delhi as instructed by her... :-)

These memorable moments will be cherished for my entire life ...
